Job Duties:
As Founding Teacher at Pathway Academy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our educational model and community. This dynamic position encompasses instructional responsibilities, curriculum development, mentorship, and support for school operations. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to create an engaging, innovative learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our students. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Classroom Instruction Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons as per contract specifications. Utilize a blend of instructional methods, including digital tools and hands-on activities, to support diverse learning styles. Monitor student progress and provide individualized support as needed. 2. Video Creation and Content Development Produce instructional videos aligned with the Pathway Lesson Cycle to enhance student learning. Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure educational standards are met and learning objectives supported. Develop supplementary materials (slides, handouts) for blended learning experiences. 3. Curriculum Setup and Development Assist in developing and adapting the curriculum for various subjects and grade levels, ensuring alignment with the schools goals. Review and revise curriculum materials to maintain relevance and engagement. 4. Utility Support for the Superintendent Provide administrative support, including project management, event coordination, and communication with staff. Assist with daily school operations, including classroom setup and material organization. 5. Mentorship and Teacher Development Mentor fellow teachers in effective curriculum implementation, focusing on blended instruction and student engagement. Lead professional development sessions for new teachers to promote consistent instructional practices. best practices and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness. 6. Collaborative Projects Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects that integrate cross-curricular knowledge with innovative learning approaches. Work with staff to implement real-world application projects, including those related to the RRWL program.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelors degree in Education or related fields (Arts, Science, Literature) preferably.
