Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and passionate Curriculum Coordinator to support and maintain high-quality educational programs across our preschool classrooms. The ideal candidate is committed to excellence in early childhood education and will provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to teachers while ensuring curriculum implementation, classroom quality, and compliance with licensing standards. Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field (or as required by state licensing). Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Curriculum Coordinator in a licensed preschool. At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience in a licensed preschool or childcare center. Key Responsibilities Oversee and support the implementation of the school's curriculum across all classrooms. Coach, mentor, and support teachers to strengthen instructional practices and classroom quality. Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback, coaching, and training. Assist teachers with lesson planning, assessments, and child development documentation. Ensure classrooms comply with state licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and quality standards. Step into classrooms as needed to provide coverage, model best teaching practices, and support daily operations. Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new teachers. Promote consistency in curriculum implementation and teaching standards throughout the school. Collaborate closely with the Director and Assistant Director to enhance educational programs and student outcomes. Support family engagement activities, school events, and other educational initiatives. Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of early childhood education and developmentally appropriate practices. Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities. Ability to observe, evaluate, and provide positive, constructive support to teaching staff. Professional, dependable, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
