Learning and Development Intern (Multiple semesters required)

Locations:

Houston, TX;

Lake Jackson, TX Salary:

$25.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students

Focus:

The Learning & Development Intern will support the design, development, and delivery of instructional content and learning programs to enhance employee development and training effectiveness.

What You'll Do:

Assist in creating instructional materials, adapting content for learners, and designing resources Engage in full-cycle recruiting including intake meetings, sourcing, selection processes, interviews, and offers Support the development or training roadmaps, research, and help evaluating learning effectiveness Provide administrative support for the LMS platform and contribute to both routine and strategic learning and development initiatives

What You'll Bring:

Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Human Resources Development or HR Instructional Design-related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines) Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations. Experience in content authoring tools used to create, organize, and package digital training materials (does not require advanced coding skills) such as Articulate 360, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, etc. required; Articulate 360 preferred. Ability to work continuously throughout the year, can be part-time (20 hours per week) while taking classes. Not eligible for virtual work. A valid US Driver's license is required
