PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provide targeted, high-impact instructional support to high school students to improve performance on TSI assessments (primarily SAT and TSIA2) Models effective instruction; supports instructional planning and data analysis based on district college readiness priorities for campus staff and administrators. Focus on accelerating readiness for college-level coursework and increasing College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Valid Texas teaching certificate (Math or ELAR preferred) Experience with SAT, TSIA2, or college readiness instruction preferred
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Strong background in secondary instruction Demonstrate success improving student outcomes Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Understand the various learning styles and show competence in developing and delivering instruction appropriate to students' developmental needs. Ability to coach adults using models such as coaching cycles, observation/feedback, and co-planning Possess knowledge base for critiquing, constructing, and utilizing multiple forms of appropriate assessment techniques in order to monitor progress, modify and adapt instruction, and set goals. Demonstrate effective communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with adults and students Ability to analyze data and support data-driven instructional planning Understand formative and summative assessment practices and PLC structures Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Possess knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures of

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Deliver small-group and individualized instruction to students identified through district data as needing additional support Support students who are approaching college readiness benchmarks Provide tutoring focused on specific

skill gaps Provide push-in instructional support in targeted courses Model effective instructional strategies aligned to
SAT/TSIA2
expectations Collaborate with classroom teachers to strengthen alignment between daily instructions and college readiness standards Deliver professional learning to a range of audiences related to college readiness assessments Use district assessment data (PSAT, SAT, TSIA2 diagnostics, and local benchmarks) to: Identify target students Group students by instructional need Adjust instruction based on progress Contribute to data reviews and planning meetings Maintain accurate records to support program evaluation and continuous improvement Partner with campus administrators, counselors, and teachers regarding intervention schedules and student access to services Support district-wide college readiness initiatives and instructional priorities Participate in after-school tutoring programs, Saturday academies, and/or summer bridge and acceleration programs
