Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Learning Solutions (ELS) is responsible for leading the development and delivery of enterprise learning solutions that support employee development, operational performance, and business objectives. This role leads a team of Instructional Designers, partners with business leaders to identify learning and performance needs, and oversees the creation of scalable learning solutions across multiple formats and technologies. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of Instructional Designers, providing ongoing feedback, performance management, and career development support. Build team capabilities, promote employee engagement, and identify opportunities for continued growth and leadership development. Oversee the design, development, prioritization, and delivery of enterprise learning solutions, including eLearning, instructor-led training, videos, multimedia content, job aids, performance support tools, and knowledge resources. Partner with Operations, subject matter experts, and business leaders to identify performance gaps and develop learning solutions aligned with organizational priorities and business objectives. Ensure learning content meets established standards for quality, consistency, effectiveness, and scalability. Manage multiple learning initiatives and competing priorities, establishing project timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverables. Communicate project status, outcomes, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership. Leverage learning and business performance data to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Develop and utilize metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure learning outcomes, adoption, and business impact. Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning programs, processes, and delivery methods. Stay current on learning technologies, instructional design methodologies, artificial intelligence, and emerging industry trends. Drive the adoption of innovative learning technologies and best practices across the enterprise learning function. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field. Seven (7) or more years of Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or related experience. Three (3) or more years of experience leading and developing professional teams. Experience leading enterprise-wide learning initiatives preferred. Experience within collision repair, automotive, retail, or multi-location operations preferred. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, performance management, and talent development capabilities. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and effectively partner with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions. Demonstrated technical aptitude and proficiency with learning technologies, content development tools, and emerging technologies. Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, and learning effectiveness practices. Ability to identify and apply artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies to enhance learning solutions and processes. High level of initiative, creativity, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement. This role requires travel up to 25%.
