ASAP Waskowitz Outdoor Education Center is seeking an Outdoor Education Specialist to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year!Please Note:
This position is located in North Bend, WA.SUMMARY:
This position supervises various residential outdoor environmental education programs. This includes Outdoor School, Living History, Reconnecting Ourselves Outdoors to Succeed (ROOTS), Challenge Facilitation, Waskowitz Environmental Leadership & Service (WELS), program support, as well as staff trainings. The Outdoor Education Specialists responsibilities include developing and teaching various types of curriculum, facilitation of challenge programs, and a variety of duties required to operate a residential outdoor education center. The Outdoor Education Specialist will primarily support the High School Leadership program by creating and implementing curriculum, supporting and developing the leaders during the week, recruiting and leader placement. The hours of this position vary from early mornings, to evening supervision, overnight support, and some weekend responsibilities. Each program has a different set of weekly hours. When not running program, this is a 6 hour a day position. Additional hours will be added during outdoor school and other programs as needed.
