Our studio community is rooted in positivity, professionalism, and a shared love of dance. We offer high-quality training in a supportive, encouraging environment where dancers can grow with confidence. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ballet Instructor to join our faculty. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in classical ballet technique, a love for teaching children and teens, and the ability to foster both discipline and joy in the studio. Responsibilities Teach ballet classes ranging from beginner to advanced levels (ages 6-18) Create lesson plans that align with EDA's curriculum and values Provide constructive feedback and technical corrections in a positive, motivating way Prepare students for performances, recitals and provide progress tracking Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to maintain a cohesive learning environment Serve as a role model for professionalism, punctuality, and artistic integrity Qualifications Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in ballet Strong knowledge of classical ballet technique Ability to connect with and inspire young dancers Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment Schedule & Compensation Weekly classes: 9 hours per week Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunities for choreography and additional teaching hours A successful applicant will be able to work with children of all ages, either in groups or individually, and has experience implementing lesson plans. The ideal candidate will also have experience performing administrative duties as well as communicating with parents and choreograpJong.
