Part-Time Position (2.5+ hours per week) $30.00/hr - Must have a reliable form of transportation. Hiring for Summer 2026! We are actively looking to hire the BEST Enrichment Instructors to teach kids one or more of the following STEM based programs: Chess LEGO Sports Visual Arts

DESCRIPTION

Help students develop confidence through games and play by becoming an Summer Enrichment Instructor! In this role, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating engaging 2 hour enrichment programs for elementary aged students. Instructors are equip with weekly lessons, materials and the necessary training to make each class successful!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and facilitate engaging 2 hour enrichment programs Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and skill development Flexibility to adapt lesson plans and activities based on student needs and interests Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during program hours Maintain professional development Completes all tasks assigned by director or assistant director Follow procedures as stated in the SK Handbook and other signed documents Maintains safe conditions for students and staff Follows and enforces program discipline policies and procedures Assists with maintenance, proper storage, and repair of equipment, materials and supplies Contributes ideas for enrichment activities, curriculum, and program quality Demonstrates excellent communication with parents, students, school staff, co workers, and directors Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

EXPERIENCE

: Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting (1 year required) Knowledge and passion for STEM education Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and abilities Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)

WORK HOURS

Monday-Friday Two-hour class sessions, but will be paid for 2.5 hours (paid an extra 15 minutes before and after each class). Classes are from 10am-12pm.

Pulpit Rock Church (301 Austin Bluffs Pkwy. Colorado Springs, CO 80918)

HOURLY RATE

$30.00/hour. There are always opportunities for raises and bonuses!

JOB REQUIREMENTS
