3000 East 3rd Avenue, Denver, CO 80206 Job Description Tutu School is a children's ballet studio serving families across the Denver metro area. We're hiring an instructor to lead ballet classes for young children, build relationships with students and families, and grow within a studio that actively invests in its teachers. This is a hands-on teaching role, not a desk job. You'll be in the studio leading class, working directly with kids ages roughly 18 months through 8 years, and shaping how they experience movement and confidence for the first time. Pay is $22-$35 per hour, based on your teaching experience. Newer instructors start toward the lower end with structured coaching while they lead their own classes; experienced teachers who take on mentoring and studio leadership responsibilities move toward the top of the range. Our current Regional Manager started as an instructor and moved into leadership within three years, so there's a real path to grow here, not just a title change. Backgrounds in childcare, performance, coaching, or education are all welcome; prior dance training helps but isn't required if you have strong instincts with young children. Our teaching team has come from a wide range of backgrounds: former professional dancers, preschool teachers, specialists in working with neurodivergent children, performers, and career-changers who simply wanted meaningful part-time work. What matters most is warmth with kids, reliability, and a willingness to grow as a teacher.
