  • Dance Art Media is seeking a personable and engaging Dance Educator / Dance Instructor for our current Fall 2026 session and beyond.
Seeking an experienced and passionate dance teacher with the ability to educate and inspire students of all ages, three years old through mature adults. This role requires designing weekly dance curriculum that will develop technique, leading energetic classes, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, you will bring enthusiasm and expertise to every session, helping students develop their skills and love for dance. Best suited candidates are those with a passion for teaching all ages in several different genres
  • HipHop, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Acro, Theatre Dance, Ballet and/or Creative Mov't.
We are seeking well rounded instructors who understand that teaching dance is about the 'how and why' and not just the 'what'. Candidates with specific areas of dance expertise are all encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels. Lead lively and motivating dance classes, ensuring all participants are engaged and supported in their learning. Manage classroom environments effectively with structured organization and classroom management strategies that promote safety and respect. Adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students, including early childhood education and both recreational and pre-professional dancers. Provide constructive feedback and corrections to students on their technique and progress, fostering growth and confidence. Collaborate with colleagues to organize, create and choreograph performances, showcases, and/or community events two times per year. Experience Proven experience in teaching with a strong education in multiple styles of dance. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curriculum plans that can cater to different age groups including preschoolers, kids, teens, and adults. Classroom experience managing diverse groups of students while maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices is a plus. Prior training / education in dance / performing arts is required.
