In this dynamic role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead classes across various styles, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will motivate students to achieve their personal best while developing their technical skills. Duties Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating various styles such as ballet, theater dance, and contemporary Lead energetic and inspiring dance classes that promote proper technique, coordination, and artistic expression Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students Provide personalized feedback and tutoring to help students improve their skills and build confidence Organize and oversee rehearsals for performances or competitions when applicable Incorporate creative elements such as photography or theater techniques to enhance the learning experience Collaborate with parents or guardians for younger students regarding progress and development Requirements Proven experience in teaching dance, choreography, or related movement arts with classroom management skills Strong knowledge of dance styles including ballet, theater dance, and contemporary techniques Experience working with children, preschoolers, or adults in educational settings Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities Familiarity with childhood development principles, special education needs, and behavior management strategies Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom experience in early childhood or preschool education Additional talents such as sewing costumes or photography are a plus but not required Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages Join us as a Dance Instructor and help ignite passion for movement while fostering growth in every student!
