We are the world leader in partner dance instruction. We instruct both couples and individuals of all ages in all styles of partner dance. (Swing, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, Country Western, Cha Cha and MANY more). No experience in ballroom or social dance styles required.

Who We're Looking For:
The right candidate for this job is someone who genuinely cares about others and wants to help people to be their best self. The ability to connect with others quickly and the ability to be on your feet 8+ hours are absolute musts . The right person for our team is someone who can add personality and fun to an already upbeat atmosphere. Some form of dance/movement experience and the ability to pick up dance steps quickly is required. Teaching and/or customer service experience preferred. This position is part-time to start while in training and building your lessons, however we are seeking someone who would like to turn this into a long-term full-time career. Advancement opportunities are also available.
Requirements:
  • Ability to be on your feet and moving all day
  • Ability to obtain a passport if needed for international dance events
  • Ability to work/travel occasional weekends
  • Willingness to commit to 1 year with company

  • At least 18 years of age (or turning 18 soon)
  • Dance experience (any form)
Responsibilities:
  • Learn to dance and teach the lead and follow portions of multiple social dance styles
  • Teach dance lessons to individuals, couples and small groups
  • Administrative duties (scheduling, collecting payments, follow up, paperwork)
  • Light cleaning
  • Learn to identify and teach to multiple learning and personality styles
  • Provide high level customer service to all clients
  • Enrolling students into programs
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Get to know you interview. These last 10-15 minutes and may conducted in person or online. STEP 3
  • Dance interview.
These are in person, take 30-90 minutes and may be done in an individual or group format. STEP 4-Training offer. Offers to join training class are made with 1 week of dance interview. Training class is paid and this initial training period may last 14-60 calendar days dependent on pace of learning and trainer/trainee availability. STEP 5-Regular position. Offered at the completion of training class to qualified candidates who have completed their instructor certification exam.
Compensation:
This is a commission based position based on teaching time with a $15/hour minimum wage guarantee after initial training period. Equivalent of $22/hr possible within your first year. Paid time off and paid holidays available for all staff after initial training period. Initial training period is paid at $14.50 and can last 14-60 days depending on trainee's pace of learning.
Schedule:
Weekday afternoon and evening availability required. Weekends required. Occasional travel required. Thursday evenings mandatory for all staff. 12-15 hours per week to start. Additional hours available as teaching time fills.
