Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic International Latin / Standard Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through the art of ballroom dance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love for dance, develop comprehensive curriculum plans, and create engaging learning environments that promote creativity, discipline, and confidence. The ideal candidate will bring a lively energy, expert knowledge of Latin and Standard dance styles, and a commitment to nurturing students' growth in both technical skills and artistic expression. Duties Design and deliver engaging dance lessons in Latin and Standard styles, tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels Develop comprehensive curricula that incorporate technique, choreography, musicality, and performance skills Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring safety, positive behavior, and active participation Choreograph routines for performances, competitions, or recitals that showcase students' progress and artistry Provide constructive feedback to students on their technique, posture, timing, and stage presence Collaborate with other instructors or program coordinators to plan special events, workshops, or youth programs Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and lesson plans to ensure continuous improvement Skills Extensive knowledge of Latin and Standard ballroom dance techniques including choreography development Strong classroom management skills to foster a respectful and motivating learning environment Experience teaching dance instruction at various levels from beginner to advanced Skills in choreography creation for performances and competitions Familiarity with musical instruments or musicality concepts relevant to dance instruction Ability to plan lessons aligned with childhood development principles and educational standards Knowledge of photography or video recording for documenting student progress or performances Additional skills in ballet, contemporary, or other creative arts are a plus but not required Join us as an International Latin / Standard Dance Instructor and become a vital part of a vibrant community dedicated to artistic excellence. Pay:
$26.00 - $40.00 per hour
