Kids Dance Teacher Caitlin Yoga Therapy Roslindale, MA Job Details Part-time | Contract From $60 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Program design Customer service Dancing AED Certification Full Job Description About the Role We're looking for an energetic, imaginative dance teacher to lead a weekly kids' dance class this summer for children ages 6-10. This is a creative role. You bring the vision. Whether you want to build a ballet and creative movement experience, a jazz and musical theater class, or a full-on Disney-inspired performance program, we want to hear what you'd create and why kids would love it. Classes meet once per week for one hour. This is a part-time summer position with strong potential to continue and grow into additional opportunities within our expanding wellness and movement community. What You'll Do You'll design and teach a curriculum that engages young movers in a fun, age-appropriate, and confidence-building way. You'll manage a small group setting, hold a safe and joyful container for kids to explore movement, and communicate warmly with parents. Great Fit If You:
Have experience teaching dance or movement to children (ages 6-10 preferred) Are trained in ballet, jazz, musical theater, creative movement, or a combination Know how to hold a room full of kids with warmth, structure, and a sense of play Can design a curriculum independently and see it through Are reliable, communicative, and genuinely excited about this age group Compensation Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
