Overture AI Teacher (Boston) Boston, MA 02133 From $70 an hour - Part-time, Contract From $70 an hour -
Part-time, Contract Founding AI Instructor, Greater Boston Area, Part-time Pay:
$70 per hour Qualifications Must pass standard background checks for working with children Must have a car (or reliable transportation to get to schools/community centers) Must be available at least 3 days/week between 2pm-6pm Experience working with children in a group/classroom/camp environment Can travel to schools and community centers in Greater Boston and surrounding areas (Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Newton, Watertown, Medford) Comfortable using technology in the classroom (laptop, projector, basic web tools) Why join Overture? This winter we're expanding our AI Game Design program, Create New Worlds, because we've seen strong demand from families. Our team started three years ago when our founders met at Northwestern University. We've grown quickly, raised investment to build our own game technology, and we're building the future of creative learning-music, games, and now AI literacy. Benefits Flexible Hours:
2-10 hours/week. Choose your days within after-school hours (3:00pm-5:00pm).

Professional Development:
Training + ongoing support. Learn a modern creative-tech curriculum you can grow with. Responsibilities Teach "Create New Worlds" classes for children - Deliver engaging lessons to 5-12 students (roughly ages 8-14), centered on storytelling + world-building, game design thinking, and age-appropriate AI literacy + AI safety. Facilitate, adapt, and give feedback - Keep students engaged and collaborating; problem-solve in the classroom and provide fast feedback to improve the program. Come prepared - Review our lesson plans and tools (provided) and use our classroom tech stack to run smooth sessions. Participate in training - Complete onboarding + training before leading classes and join periodic coaching/check-ins as we scale. What We're Looking For Curiosity about creative tech (AI, games, storytelling, design-even if you're new) Always learning and open to feedback Enjoys working with kids and can lead a group confidently Great communicator with students and parents High-energy facilitator who can turn a room into a creative studio fast Extra Credit Classroom management experience Background in group teaching, camp counseling, or youth mentorship Interest in writing, art, game design, robotics, STEM/STEAM Experience working at schools, after-school programs, or community centers
