In this role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead dynamic classes, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth, confidence, and a love for movement. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will help students develop their technique, rhythm, and stage presence while having fun every step of the way. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your dance passion and make a lasting impact on our vibrant community. Duties Lead engaging group classes and private lessons that motivate students to improve their dancing abilities while ensuring a supportive atmosphere Manage classroom dynamics effectively through behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques Prepare lesson plans that incorporate creative teaching methods, including photography documentation of student progress or performances when appropriate Organize and oversee dance practice sessions, rehearsals, and performances to build confidence and stage presence among students Collaborate with parents, caregivers, or adult learners to track progress and set achievable goals for each student's development Maintain a safe, inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and promotes childhood development principles Requirements Proven experience in teaching ballroom dancing both American and International Style Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Ability to work effectively with children, preschoolers, or adult learners with varying skill levels Familiarity with early childhood education principles, special education needs, or behavior management strategies is a plus Passion for dancing combined with excellent communication skills to motivate and inspire learners of all ages Join us as a Ballroom Dance Teacher and bring your vibrant energy into every class!
