Overview Dimensions Dance Center is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Acro Dance Instructor to join our team for Season 11! Duties Provide monthly lesson plans that facilitate growth in the students Lead energetic dance classes that incorporate acrobatic techniques, ensuring safety and proper form Develop creative choreography that blends dance styles with acrobatic elements for performances and recitals Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth Collaborate with other instructors to coordinate performances, workshops, and special events Maintain equipment, dance space cleanliness, and safety standards at all times

Schedule:

Wednesday and Friday evenings currently with options for growth Requirements Proven experience in teaching acro dance or related performing arts disciplines Strong background in choreography, dance instruction, and movement techniques Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management skills Experience working with children and youth programs of all ages Ability to develop engaging lesson plans focused on creative arts instruction and childhood development Certification or training in dance education, special education, or related fields is preferred Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing dancers, creating and maintaining a positive classroom environment and helping student build strength, flexibility, technique and confidence.
