Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Preschool Dance Instructor to inspire young children through the joy of movement, music, and creative arts. In this role, you will design engaging dance activities tailored to preschoolers' developmental stages, fostering their physical coordination, self-expression, and love for the arts. Your energy and passion will help create a lively, supportive environment where children can explore their creativity while developing essential skills. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate dance curricula that incorporate elements of choreography, music, and movement suitable for preschool children Lead energetic dance classes that promote physical activity, coordination, rhythm, and self-confidence in young learners Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Incorporate visual arts, theater, or musical instruments into dance lessons to enhance creative expression Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning and integrate arts education with early childhood development principles Use various teaching techniques such as storytelling, props, or multimedia to engage children actively in dance activities Monitor each child's progress and provide encouragement to foster their love for the arts and self-expression Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or youth program settings, especially preschool-aged children Background n teaching arts such as dance instruction, choreography, ballet, or theater performance Skills in classroom management and behavior management strategies suitable for young learners Experience working with visual & performing arts including musical instruments or singing is a plus Ability to plan engaging lessons that combine movement with other creative disciplines like photography or sewing is desirable Certification or training in early childhood education or special education is preferred but not required Join us if you're passionate about nurturing creativity in young children through energetic dance instruction!
