Our focus is dancer growth at every age and ability — especially our youngest artists who are just beginning their dance journey. We are a training studio, not a performance team, and we take that mission seriously. We are hiring part-time Dance Instructors for our upcoming 2026-2027 dance season, who are passionate about teaching young dancers and committed to showing up consistently for their students. We have openings across multiple genres and age groups, with our greatest needs in early childhood and beginner-level classes. Reliability is a must. Our dancers thrive when they see the same instructor week after week — consistent, familiar faces make all the difference for young learners.
Important:
Our studio's mission is to train dancers — many of whom are just beginning their dance journey. If you are looking for an elite team to set choreography pieces on, this position is not the right fit. We are looking for educators first. Genres we're hiring for: AcroDance | Ballet | Tap | Jazz | Hip-Hop | Age groups: Toddlers (ages 2-3) — nurturing, play-based movement introduction Preschool (ages 3-5) — foundational movement, coordination, and joyful exploration Primary (ages 6-7) — building confidence, technique basics, and love for dance Beginner (ages 8 and up) — entry-level technique and skill development Classes run Monday-Friday 5:00-8:30 PM and Saturdays 9:15 AM-4:00 PM . We are hiring for all days, but candidates with Monday, Friday evening and Saturday availability will be given first consideration . Instructors do not need to cover the full window — but must be available to teach within their assigned timeframe. You'll lead fun, energetic, and skill-based classes with students who are building their confidence, coordination, and love for dance. Schedule Requirements Must be available to teach and/or sub classes on any 1-3 days, between Monday-Friday between 5:00 PM-8:30 PM Must be available for to teach and/or sub classes Saturdays between 9:00 AM-4:00 PM as needed. Responsibilities Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate classes for assigned age groups Instruct in your genre(s) with clear structure, positivity, and student safety Maintain consistent attendance — your students count on seeing you each week Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and studio leadership Serve as a reliable substitute as needed Support studio performances and seasonal events Qualifications Experience teaching children in a dance studio or educational setting (toddler/preschool experience highly valued) Strong training in one or more of the listed genres Ability to manage a classroom with patience, clarity, and energy Reliable, punctual, and proactive in communication when unavailable Comfortable using email and following lesson or choreography outlines Aligned with the studio's mission of joyful, disciplined dance education Special education or inclusive teaching experience is a plus Dance degree or certifications are a plus but not required What We Offer A supportive and creative teaching environment Paid teaching time based on experience Employee discount Flexible scheduling within required availability windows Professional development assistance Opportunities for growth and advancement A team that values professionalism, purpose, and joy in dance education How to Apply Submit your resume along with the following information: Dance styles trained in , including number of years, dates, studios, and instructors/choreographers Teaching experience per style — ages taught, years of experience, and studio/program names Any certifications or credentials related to dance education
