Full Job Description Job Summary:
Arts Together is looking for an amazing dance instructor(s) who love working with children, teens and adults!
Required:
must have dance teaching experience.
Preferred:
a college degree in dance, working on a degree in dance, or equivalent professional dance training/experience. We are looking for a motivated, energetic professional to join our staff and create a warm, welcoming environment for our dance students for their weekly dance class starting September 1st. Applicants must be knowledgeable of creative movement and hip-hop. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching adults/children and may have a degree in dance or obtaining a college degree in dance or have professional training in dance. The ideal candidates also need to have experience with caring for and/or instructing children and have the ability to effectively communicate with parents. Here are the opportunities available to teach for the fall/spring 2026-2027: Tuesday 4:30-5:15PM Creative Dance & Hip-Hop (ages 5-7) Thursday 1:15-2:00PM Dance Play (ages 3-5) Thursday 5:30-6:30PM Intermediate Hip Hop (11-14) Thursday Beg. Hip-Hop Workshop for Adults (6 weeks in the spring) 6:30-7:30PM, Saturday Hip-Hop Tots & Creative Dance (ages 3-5) 9:45-10:30

Responsibilities:
Create a fun and lively atmosphere that supports students' independence and growth while guiding their learning of creative movement, hip-hop and general body control. Provide students with clear, consistent instructions about expectations, activities, and movements. Communicate professionally and tactfully with parents, staff, and dance director regarding any issues that arise and support needed.
Pay:
$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
