This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with families, mentoring student leaders, supporting staff, and creating exceptional experiences for dancers of all ages.
Position OverviewThis position combines studio leadership, operations, mentorship, and teaching. The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting the daily operation of the studio while helping our recreational and leadership programs flourish.
ResponsibilitiesRecreational Co-Director Support the overall recreational dance program. Partner with studio leadership to ensure an exceptional family experience. Assist with front desk leadership and daily studio operations. Coordinate communication with recreational families. Support enrollment, scheduling, organization, and studio events. Help create efficient systems and maintain studio organization. Leadership Program Director Oversee the Student Leadership Program. Manage applications, interviews, and acceptance processes. Mentor Leadership Assistants throughout the season. Organize leadership meetings and training sessions. Promote professionalism, responsibility, teamwork, and leadership. Support Leadership Assistants during studio events and performances. Dance Instructor Teach recreational and competitive dance classes. Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons. Encourage confidence, teamwork, and technical excellence. Participate in recitals, performances, and studio events. Qualifications Previous dance teaching experience. Leadership, administrative, or management experience preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong customer service mindset. Passion for mentoring children and young leaders.
