We are seeking a warm, engaging instructor to lead movement and ballet classes for our young learners in a joyful, age-appropriate way. At three little birds , dance is about more than technique—it's about confidence, creativity, and a love of movement . We are looking for someone who can create a positive, structured environment where children can explore dance through play, music, and imagination. This is a part-time role , leading: one in-school PreK dance class one afterschool ballet class one "Tiny Dancer & Me" toddler class (caregiver + child) Duties Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate dance and movement classes for PreK 3, PreK 4, and Kindergarten students Lead a gentle, playful "Tiny Dancer & Me" class focused on movement, music, and caregiver-child connection Introduce foundational ballet concepts in a playful, accessible way Confidently manage a group of young children, maintaining a balance of structure and fun Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment where all children feel supported and successful Adapt lessons to meet the needs and energy of different age groups Collaborate with school leadership to ensure consistency with our play-based philosophy Skills Strong background in ballet (additional styles a plus) Experience working with young children (ages 2-5 preferred) Comfortable engaging both children and caregivers in a toddler class setting Ability to lead a group independently and manage classroom behavior with confidence and warmth Understanding of early childhood development and how young children learn through movement Reliable, consistent, and organized About Us At three little birds , children learn, play, and grow through creative, play-based experiences filled with music, movement, and joy.
