Instructor Trainee

Arthur Murray Red Bank helps people feel confident through music, movement, and fun. We're a fast-paced, team-oriented studio where every day is different and every lesson makes an impact. What We're Looking For We're seeking fast learners with great attitudes—people who take initiative, stay productive, and thrive in a structured, supportive team environment. You must be humble, coachable, self-motivated, and able to build quick rapport with students and coworkers. Prior dance experience is required (Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballroom, Latin, etc.), and we will provide full Ballroom, Latin, and Club Dance training through the Arthur Murray system. Key Responsibilities Teach private and group lessons in a variety of partner dance styles (training provided) Follow the Arthur Murray syllabus, teaching methods, and studio standards Personalize lessons to student goals and track their progress Support studio events, practice parties, and student activities Build strong relationships to foster student retention and a warm, welcoming community Stay proactive—always find productive ways to contribute Assist with basic studio operations, scheduling, and event preparation as needed Qualifications Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable connecting with students of all ages Fast learner with strong work ethic, humility, and follow-through Strong musicality and rhythm; dance background required Team player who enjoys structure, systems, and continuous learning Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
