Summer 2026 Dance Instructor Position Available!

Are you a dance teacher, Zumba instructor, or yoga and movement professional with a love for working with young children? A Bergen County-based day camp is seeking a skilled and engaging Dance Instructor for an 8-week Summer 2026 session (June 23-August 14) . Whether you specialize in jazz, acro, yoga, Zumba, or creative movement, this role offers the opportunity to share your expertise in a fun, supportive, and energetic camp environment.

Position Highlights:

Teach and lead daily dance and movement sessions for campers ages 4-9 Adapt and differentiate your curriculum to meet diverse skill levels and learning styles Use a variety of camp-provided materials—such as poly spots, ribbon wands, and dance props—to create dynamic, interactive classes Foster confidence, creativity, and joy through movement

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Proven experience teaching dance, fitness, or movement classes, especially with young children Strong curriculum planning and class management skills A creative and flexible approach to engaging young learners A collaborative attitude and a passion for children's growth and development A commitment to inclusivity and respect for diversity Enthusiasm, patience, flexibility, and a desire to be a positive role model
