In this dynamic role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead vibrant classes, and foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and physical development. Duties Develop comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate modern dance techniques, choreography, and improvisation exercises tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels Lead lively, well-structured classes that promote physical fitness, artistic expression, and confidence among students Manage classroom behavior effectively while creating an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all learners Incorporate multimedia tools such as photography or video recordings to enhance dance instruction and showcase student progress Adapt teaching methods for students with special needs or different learning styles, including early childhood education and preschool experience Collaborate with parents, caregivers, or school staff to monitor student development and provide constructive feedback Organize performances or showcases that highlight student achievements and celebrate community engagement Experience Proven classroom experience in teaching modern dance or related contemporary movement styles Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Experience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners in educational or artistic settings Knowledge of ballet fundamentals, theater arts, and childhood development principles is highly desirable Skills in photography or videography to document performances or create promotional materials are a plus Familiarity with behavior management strategies and special education accommodations enhances your effectiveness as an instructor Additional experience in sewing or costume design can support creative costume projects for performances Join us as a Modern Dance Instructor and ignite passion for movement while nurturing the artistic growth of your students!
