We're searching for someone who: Has a strong foundation in hip hop and can teach proper technique and fundamentals. Works well with pre-teens and teens (approximately ages 10-18). Creates a positive, encouraging, and high-energy classroom environment. Is reliable, organized, and passionate about helping dancers grow. Whether you're an experienced instructor or an up-and-coming teacher with a strong hip hop background, we'd love to connect! Expectations Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for all learners Plan lessons that incorporate fundamental principles of childhood development, early childhood education, and special education when necessary Provide constructive feedback and tutoring to support individual progress in dancing and performance skills Incorporate photography and staging techniques to enhance students' understanding of performance arts Collaborate with parents, caregivers, or adult learners to track progress and set achievable goals for each student Teach 1-3 Hip Hop classes a week Experience Hip-Hop experience Proven classroom or teaching experience in dance instruction or related movement arts Experience in working with students of varying abilities Familiarity with early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and preschool activities related to dance Additional skills such as sewing for costume creation or culinary experience for event planning are a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to plan lessons effectively while fostering a fun yet disciplined learning atmosphere Join us as a Dance Teacher and bring energy, creativity, and professionalism to our vibrant community!
