The BMML Pure Barre Group currently includes the following studios: Lake Oswego, Portland - Broadway, Beaverton and Sherwood Job Overview We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Instructors to join our team. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in leading and guiding individuals through various fitness activities and programs. Musicality and the ability to lead a room of 15+ people are a must! If you are a good fit for this role, you'll also be friendly, reliable, highly skilled at multitasking, have excellent communication skills and be genuine and passionate about helping others. If you have a strong background in body mechanics, fitness sales, and a passion for educating others in areas such as Yoga, Personal Training, Group Fitness, or Sports Coaching, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Availability to teach a minimum of 2 classes per week (classes are offered early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends and some holidays) Diligent planning and preparation before each class is required, including study of choreography & class planning prior to each class, as well as learning full choreography changes on a quarterly basis Assist with keeping the studio organized, clean and tidy Ability to lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups and maintain high-energy for a 50-minute class is required All instructors are required to complete a 4-day training with our corporate trainers, as well as significant 'at home' study and preparation for certification. Minimum 1 year commitment to teaching is required before attending the 4 -day training. Educate participants on proper techniques, form, and safety measures Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly Collaborate with team members to create a positive and motivating environment Qualifications Enthusiastic, confident and outgoing personality Passion for fitness, wellness and helping others Ability and desire to build client relationships through outstanding customer service Active lifestyle, already living a health-centered life Dependable with a strong work ethic - natural willingness to go above and beyond Musicality - ability to keep rhythm and count to the beat of the music Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading or barre concept (ideal, but not required) If you are enthusiastic about helping others achieve their fitness goals, possess the required skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we invite you to apply for the Instructor position.
