GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

We are looking to hire a passionate dance instructor to join our team. You will be responsible for teaching guests a range of techniques and dance styles, ensuring that all guests are engaged, motivated, and inspired

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level. Ability to communicate with a diverse group of instructors and guests. Engage, encourage, and motivate guests. Choreograph routines and select music for classes. Conduct group and private lessons as required. Provide a fun and creative environment. Keep up to date in your discipline and implement any changes to the dance routines and curriculum as needed. They have to take into account the health problems of the students and teach them accordingly They also have to take the age of each student into account as their students can be anyone They have to monitor each of them carefully to ensure that they are doing the position properly They have to be experts themselves and have to be in great shape Instruct guests in proper use of all exercise equipment, including weight machines, free weights, cardiovascular machines, etc. Stay current in the latest fitness research and program developments Attend regular meetings as directed by the Fitness Manager Daily monitor of fitness department supplies and equipment with inventory and maintenance check list. Collaborate with Fitness Manager in the development of class scheduling and programming Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the fitness equipment, class studios and CWS. Conduct guest orientation of the Fitness/Mind Body studios Provide guest hospitality and excellent customer service. Perform other general duties as assigned by the Fitness Manager Work cooperatively with all resort staff

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

: Two years' experience leading dance classes. Ability to teach a wide variety of guests.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
