Only individuals within a reasonable commute of our Camp Hill, PA studios will be considered.

Because this position involves interaction with minor students, Pennsylvania child abuse history/FBI background clearances must be obtained.

• Pennsylvania Ballet Academy (PBA) is seeking a part-time contemporary dance instructor to work with our intermediate to advanced ballet students.

The instructor would be needed one or two evenings per week, or possibly one evening per week and a Saturday afternoon.

Each contemporary class would be 60 minutes to 90 minutes in duration.

The ideal candidate will possess classical ballet education, training or experience and/or other dance training or background (such as jazz or tap) and be familiar with all genres of dance.

A high school diploma is required, but some college/university attendance or degree is preferred.

Educational or professional experience with contemporary or modern dance technique/style also would be ideal.

Actual instructional times are flexible and may vary, to include evenings, Monday through Thursday, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and/or Saturdays, with the contemporary class conducted somewhere between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Performances and other Academy events may require additional hours.
