Heart Beatz Dance Academy Mt. Pleasant, SC $22/hour | Part-Time Heart Beatz Dance Academy is a children's dance studio serving dancers ages 15 months through 12 years. Our mission is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance through engaging, high-quality classes. We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Dance Instructor who loves teaching children and creating an exciting classroom experience. If you're passionate about dance, enjoy working with kids, and want to be part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you! Primary Responsibilities Teach weekly dance classes for children ages 15 months-12 years Deliver fun, engaging lessons using the Heart Beatz curriculum Create a positive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment Build confidence and foster a love of dance in every student Communicate professionally with families and fellow team members Maintain classroom organization and uphold studio standards Occasionally substitute classes for other instructors Participate in occasional studio events, camps, or birthday parties as opportunities arise Qualifications Dance training in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, musical theatre, or related styles Experience teaching dance or working with children preferred Energetic, positive, and engaging personality Excellent classroom management and communication skills Reliable, professional, and punctual Passion for helping children grow both as dancers and as individuals Schedule Tuesday and Wednesday Evenings Saturday and Sunday morning / afternoon Part-time hours based on studio schedule and enrollment Compensation $22/hour Weekly dance classes Substitute teaching assignments Additional opportunities available at $15/hour for camps, birthday parties, and special events.
