Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages through the art of dance. In this role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead energetic classes, and foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and technical growth. Your enthusiasm for movement and dedication to arts education will help students develop their skills while enjoying the transformative power of dance. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored to various skill levels and age groups, incorporating elements of choreography, technique, and performance skills Lead lively and motivating dance classes that promote physical fitness, artistic expression, and teamwork Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special needs students when necessary Collaborate with other arts instructors to integrate dance with visual arts, theater, music, or other creative disciplines Prepare students for performances by choreographing routines and guiding rehearsals with precision and enthusiasm Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and lesson plans to track student development Qualifications Proven experience in dance instruction across multiple styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary or cultural dance forms Strong background in choreography and performance arts with an ability to teach visual & performing arts effectively Experience working with children and youth programs, including early childhood or preschool education settings Knowledge of classroom management techniques to foster discipline while nurturing creativity Familiarity with teaching music or musical instruments is a plus for integrating rhythm and musicality into lessons Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and behavior management are essential Additional experience in theater production, photography, sewing or culinary arts enhances your versatility as an instructor Join us as a Dance Instructor and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to enriching lives through movement! Pay:
