Acro Instructor Synergy Dance Studio - 5.0 West Lake Hills, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time $25 - $50 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Teamwork First Aid Certification Working with students Lesson planning Full Job Description Synergy Dance Studio is seeking a passionate and experienced Acro Dance Instructor to join our vibrant dance community for the upcoming season. This position may be part-time or full-time and involves teaching students ranging from preschool age through our Competitive Company dancers. We are looking for an instructor who is enthusiastic about acro technique, child development, and helping dancers build strength, flexibility, confidence, and safe progression of acrobatic skills. Responsibilities Teach engaging and age-appropriate acro classes for recreational and competitive dancers. Provide safe, progressive instruction in acrobatic skills including flexibility, balance, strength, limbering, tumbling, and partnering appropriate to student level. Develop lesson plans that promote proper technique, injury prevention, and skill progression. Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment for students of all ages and abilities. Inspire students to achieve their personal goals while building confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Collaborate with fellow instructors and studio leadership to support student development and performance goals. Assist with choreography and cleaning of competitive and recital routines as needed. Maintain a safe, organized, and professional classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff. Qualifications Strong background in Acro Dance instruction and technique. Previous experience teaching acro, gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, or related disciplines. Knowledge of proper skill progressions and spotting techniques. Ability to teach students from beginner through advanced levels. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. Passion for working with children and helping them succeed. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. Location Must be able to commute to or relocate to West Lake Hills, Texas (78746).
