The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of all ages. This role involves teaching dance classes, developing engaging lesson plans, and nurturing students' love for dance while promoting their physical and artistic growth. Teacher Training is provided. Loooking for candidates to teach the 2026-2027 school year, summer session, summer workshops, any or all.
Specifically:
Acro
- Ballet
- Monday and Wednesday afternoon/evening in school year Breaking/Hip Hop toddler to kindergarten classes
- Saturday mornings in school year
Responsibilities:
Teach dance techniques and choreography in a variety of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, acro, hip hop and modern. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere. Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students, ensuring their progress and addressing any challenges. Choreograph and design routines for bi-annual productions Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall educational experience offered at the studio. Maintain a safe and clean environment conducive to learning and creativity. Committed to continuous education and teaching certifications Skills Either of all of the following styles: ballet, tap, jazz, acro, modern, hip hop. Ages 4-teens. Beg-Intermediate levels. Experience teaching dance or related subjects, with an emphasis on working with children

Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood development principles. Ability to engage students through creative teaching methods that cater to diverse learning styles. A passion for dancing and the ability to inspire others through movement.
