We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and dependable Dance Instructor who is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong technique, and discover a lifelong love of dance. Our studio is a family-focused, technique-based dance school that prides itself on providing a safe, encouraging, and professional environment where every child feels valued and every instructor is supported. Responsibilities Teach engaging, age-appropriate dance classes for students ages 2 through adult. Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment where every student can succeed. Plan and prepare lessons that emphasize proper technique, creativity, and progression. Maintain classroom organization and safety. Communicate professionally with studio leadership. Choreograph recital routines and, if qualified, competition routines. Participate in occasional rehearsals, performances, and studio events. Serve as a positive role model for students both inside and outside the classroom. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching dance to children and teens. Knowledge in multiple dance styles preferred, including combinations of: Ballet Tap Jazz Hip Hop Lyrical Contemporary Musical Theatre Acro (a plus, but not required) Strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation. Ability to work evenings. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain). Background check required.
