Company Overview Dance Now! Studios, LLC has been dedicated to inspiring dancers for the past eighteen years. Located in Beaver Dam, WI, we are excited to expand our vibrant community. Job Overview Dance Now! Studios is seeking a passionate, dependable, and well-rounded Dance Instructor to join our team for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children and is excited to share their knowledge, energy, and joy of dance with students of all ages and experience levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ballet (required) along with the ability to teach a variety of styles. We are looking for someone who can create a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment while helping students grow in confidence, technique, and performance skills. This is a part-time evening position (2-3 nights per week), with additional teaching opportunities available. Candidates must be reliable and able to commit to the full dance season from September through May 2027 . At Dance Now! Studios, we focus on developing the whole dancer —building not just strong technique, but confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of dance. Duties Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate dance classes in Ballet and additional styles as assigned Instruct students of varying ages and skill levels, from beginners to more advanced dancers Create a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment Develop choreography for recital and/or performances Provide constructive feedback to help students grow in technique, confidence, and performance quality Maintain classroom organization, time management, and class flow Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times Communicate effectively with students, parents, and studio staff Attend and participate in studio events, including recital, rehearsals, and meetings as required Follow all studio policies, procedures, and curriculum guidelines Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes and responsibilities Assist with student placement recommendations when needed Represent Dance Now! Studios in a professional and positive manner Qualifications Training in multiple dance styles (Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, etc.) in addition to Ballet Experience teaching young children and/or early childhood dance programs Previous choreography experience for recitals, performances, or competitions Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students Ability to teach multiple levels (recreational through intermediate/advanced) Experience working in a team-oriented studio environment Knowledge of proper technique, injury prevention, and safe dance practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both students and parents Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive teaching style Organized and dependable with strong time management skills Willingness to continue learning and growing as an instructor Experience with competition teams or performance groups is a plus Join us at Dance Now! Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
