Head Instructor

Overview Join a dynamic, high-level Taekwondo academy with over 40 years of tradition, excellence, and community impact. We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Head Master / Lead Instructor to lead and inspire students of all ages through martial arts training, character development, and structured instruction. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality classes, maintaining strong class structure and discipline, and helping shape the culture and future growth of the school. The ideal candidate brings both technical expertise and the ability to connect with students and families in a positive, professional environment. As Head Master, you will play a central role in ensuring student development, safety, and retention, while contributing to a welcoming and growth-oriented academy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and instruct Taekwondo classes for students of all ages and skill levels Maintain a structured, disciplined, and engaging class environment Support student development in technique, confidence, and character Assist in onboarding new students and maintaining a high-quality experience Uphold the academy's standards, culture, and teaching methodology Collaborate with leadership on class structure, curriculum, and program growth

Qualifications:

Strong background in Taekwondo (Kukkiwon certification preferred) Experience teaching and managing groups of students Professional, reliable, and positive attitude Strong communication and leadership skills Passion for working with children and developing future leaders Ability to maintain high energy and presence on the floor

Pay:

$24.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
