Camp Director Youth Soccer Programs (Point Loma) | San Diego Wave Camps

San Diego Wave Camps is hiring a Site Director for our Point Loma location (Bill Cleator Park), July 13-17, 2026 . This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a direct impact in their community through youth sports. As Site Director, you will lead daily camp operations, support staff, and create an environment where campers feel confident, included, and excited to learn. You'll be responsible for ensuring every camper and family has a positive and memorable camp experience .

Site Director Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily camp operations for youth soccer camps Supervise, support, and evaluate a team of soccer coaches and camp staff Execute the San Diego Wave Camps curriculum with consistency and quality Handle problem-solving, conflict resolution, and on-site decision-making Perks of working with

Lead a premium youth soccer camp program Gain leadership experience in sports management, youth development, and operations Build and mentor a team of coaches and future leaders Potential eligibility for San Diego Wave FC match tickets

Preferred Experience:

Experience leading youth programs, summer camps, or sports camps Background in soccer coaching or playing (high school level or higher preferred) Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Passion for youth development through sports Compensation & Requirements 6-week summer commitment: June 22 - July 31, 2026 and transportation reliable to drive to our camp sites Must pass a comprehensive background screening $1,400 - $1,600 per week, based on experience
