Job Description
KIPP Charlotte Inc, part of KIPP North Carolina's public charter network, seeks a dedicated Teacher to deliver rigorous, high-expectation instruction to students from underserved communities. In this role, you will design and lead standards-aligned lessons, use data to drive instruction, and create a structured, joyful, and culturally responsive classroom. You will collaborate with a supportive team, engage families as partners, and help build an anti-racist, inclusive school culture focused on preparing students for success in college, career, and life. Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus may be available. Professional growth, coaching, and leadership opportunities are integral to this role. Responsibilities Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned daily lessons. Use data to assess student learning and adjust instruction. Establish a structured, joyful, and culturally responsive classroom. Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share best practices. Communicate regularly with families about student progress and goals. Support student character development and social-emotional growth. Participate in coaching, observations, and professional development. Contribute to an anti-racist, inclusive, and equity-driven school culture. Engage in school events and community partnership activities. Uphold school policies, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
