The Saratoga Springs City School District Seeks an outstanding educational leader for the position of Director of K-12 Humanities and Elementary Instruction The district is welcoming a diverse pool of applicants with demonstrated leadership in : The success of ALL students Elementary curriculum & innovative instructional practices Response to Intervention and implementing a multi-tiered system of support Promoting an open, inclusive environment Supporting teachers to grow as professional educators Professional learning communities and utilizing data to inform instructional practices Clear communication with all stakeholders Team building with the ability to motivate staff and students Proven knowledge of literacy research and evidence-based best practices Proven experience and excellence in implementing Literacy and ELA initiatives K-12

Minimum Qualifications:

New York State certification: School District Leader (SDL); School District Administrator (SDA) NYS Teaching Certificate in elementary education and/or literacy Experience in the area of elementary literacy preferred Master's degree in the field of Education 3 - 7 years of building and/or district administrative experience

Employment Commences:

July 1, 2026
