Jul 1, 2026 Job Description The Wallingford-Swarthmore School District, a high performing school district located 12 miles southwest of Philadelphia, is seeking applicants for the position of Supervisor of Secondary Curriculum. Serving approximately 1200 students at our middle and high schools, the Supervisor is responsible for strengthening 6-12 instructional quality and student learning outcomes by providing districtwide leadership and supervision of coherent, standards-aligned curriculum across all secondary content areas. Building instructional capacity among secondary educators through supervision and evaluation of professional staff, professional learning, and collaborative leadership that promotes effective instructional practices and continuous improvement. Ensuring equitable, aligned, and responsive 6-12 curriculum and instruction by supporting and supervising data-informed decision-making, MTSS practices, and instructional coherence across schools in alignment with district priorities. Candidate must hold an active administrative certificate, preferably a Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction certificate issued through PDE. Prior administrative experience is required. The successful candidate is employed in the Act 93 Administrators' group; the salary will be competitive and include an excellent comprehensive benefits package. The candidate must have a minimum of a Master's Degree. The candidate must possess an administrative certification. A strong background in Math and/or Science preferred. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably at the secondary level. Prior administrative experience preferred. This 12-month, Act 93 position begins on July 1, 2026.
