Job Description

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Montessori Curriculum Coordinator to join our leadership team. This position is ideal for a dedicated Montessori educator who is ready to take the next step in their career while continuing to support children, teachers, and the Montessori philosophy throughout the school. The Montessori Curriculum Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our Montessori program, mentoring and training staff, overseeing classroom environments, and ensuring that Montessori lessons and practices are implemented consistently across all classrooms. Qualifications Montessori Certification required (AMI, AMS, MACTE-accredited, or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years of Montessori classroom teaching experience. Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, materials, and curriculum. Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading teachers is preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Passion for supporting educators and fostering high-quality Montessori environments. Responsibilities Train, mentor, and support teachers in Montessori philosophy and best practices. Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback. Ensure Montessori lesson plans are implemented with fidelity to the Montessori method. Monitor classroom environments to ensure shelves are organized, complete, and rotated appropriately. Verify that Montessori materials are maintained, replenished, and presented according to Montessori standards. Support teachers with lesson planning, classroom management, and student development. Lead professional development and ongoing staff training sessions. Assist with onboarding and training new Montessori teachers and assistants. Collaborate with administration to maintain consistency and excellence throughout the program. Ensure classrooms remain developmentally appropriate, engaging, and aligned with Montessori principles. Serve as a resource for staff regarding Montessori curriculum, materials, and child development. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a seasoned Montessori educator who: Leads by example.
