Description/Notes:

Provide leadership for the elementary curriculum and instruction program of the district and facilitate the design, programs, activities, and systems that support the educational process of students and staff in grades Pre-K to 5.

Education/Certification:

Master's degree in education administration or curriculum/instruction Texas Mid-management or other appropriate Texas certificate Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) Appraiser

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to coordinate the elementary curriculum initiatives Ability to plan, organize, and work withmittees to develop a district-wide elementary program Assist Deputy Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction with elementary curriculum and instruction and long range planning Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data Ability to manage budget and personnel Strongmunication, public relations, and interpersonal skills

Experience:

Three years experience as a classroom teacher Three years experience in instructional leadership roles

Salary Range:

$107,856•$129,36 dependent upon experience Aplete benefits package is available.
