Puppet Show Teacher / Creative Drama Instructor Part-Time | Scaffold Play Lab / Scaffold Play School About the Role We are looking for a creative, energetic, and engaging teacher to lead puppet theater and storytelling experiences for young children through dramatic play, movement, music, and hands-on activities. This is not a traditional theater class. The focus is on imagination, confidence, collaboration, language, and self-expression through playful learning experiences. Age Group Children ages 4-8 Responsibilities Lead puppet shows, storytelling, and creative drama activities Guide children through imaginative play, movement, and character creation Support simple puppet-making and prop-building projects Encourage participation, confidence, and collaboration Help prepare simple end-of-week performances or showcases Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment Qualifications Experience working with young children preferred Background in theater, arts, music, storytelling, or education is a plus Strong group leadership and communication skills Playful, expressive, patient, and energetic personality Passion for creativity and child-centered learning Program Style Project-based Play-centered Small group environment Interactive and hands-on learning Schedule Part-time Flexible weekday and/or summer hours available
