This energetic role involves guiding students through technical vocal training, developing personalized lesson plans, and fostering a love for singing across diverse musical genres. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong background in voice training to help students unlock their full vocal potential and build confidence in their musical journey. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of talented singers while engaging with vibrant arts communities. This is a private instruction position. You set your own pay rate and times available.
THIS IS A 1099 POSTION. ALL INDEPEDENT CONTACTOR RESPONSIBLITIES FOLLOW.
Duties Design and deliver engaging voice lessons tailored to students' skill levels, interests, and goals Develop comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate vocal techniques, breathing exercises, diction, and performance skills Manage classroom environments effectively to promote positive learning experiences and encourage active participation Provide constructive feedback to support students' technical improvement and artistic growth Incorporate elements of musical theater, choreography, or performance arts into lessons when appropriate Prepare students for performances, auditions, or recitals by coaching stage presence and presentation skills Maintain detailed records of lesson progress, attendance, and student achievements Requirements Proven experience in teaching voice, singing, or related performing arts with a focus on creative arts instruction Strong knowledge of vocal techniques, music theory, and performance practices across various genres Experience working with children, youth programs, or adult learners in educational settings Ability to develop engaging curricula that include lesson planning and classroom management strategies Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring others through music and the arts Join us as a Voice Instructor to empower students through the transformative power of singing!
