Qualifications Include:
High School Diploma At least two years of experience working with high school auxiliary programs. Background in performance and/or teaching collegiate, DCI, or WGI auxiliary programs. Ample understanding of dance and movement techniques in addition to equipment techniques (flag, rifle, and sabre). Ability to demonstrate and implement such techniques with beginners is a must. Experience working with extracurricular performing arts activities in the high school setting, such as drill teams, dance teams, or cheer is not required but a bonus.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with designing and implementing choreography. Assisting with teaching our visual ensemble and supporting the staff in the direction and execution of tasks. Attendance during our
Summer Visual and Sectional Rehearsals, Band Camp, and Fall After-School Rehearsals, and Competitions:
(Tuesdays in June, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in July, Monday - Friday July 29th- August 9th, as well as Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday August through October).
Compensation:
Pay depends on prior experience $39.50 (cash/check) fingerprint fee due upon hire.
