Drama Teacher

05/27/2026 St. Coleman Catholic School in Pompano Beach, Florida is looking to hire a qualified and experienced full-time Drama Teacher for the 2026-27 school year, to teach and direct school productions for all student levels. This person will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate curriculum for the school's performing arts program. The Drama Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Music, Theater, Fine Arts, or related field. Florida Department of Education Teacher certification; temporary or professional required. Must obtain catechetical certification from Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire. Drama experience preferred. Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus. Supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; Experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred. Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
