Immediately Job Description Position Overview Linn Middle and High School is seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to build and lead a dynamic performing arts program. The ideal candidate will inspire students through theater, foster creativity and confidence, and create opportunities for students to perform and grow both on and off the stage. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging drama and theater curriculum for middle and high school students Direct and produce school plays, performances, and showcases Teach acting, stage presence, voice, movement, and technical theater skills Organize and sponsor drama club and extracurricular theater activities Collaborate with staff to support school events and cross-curricular opportunities Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment Manage stage productions including set design, costumes, and rehearsals Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration Preferred Qualities High energy and enthusiasm for student engagement Strong organizational and leadership skills Willingness to grow and expand a developing program Commitment to fostering student confidence and creativity What We Offer Supportive school community Opportunities to build and shape a growing drama program Collaboration with dedicated staff and administration Access to students eager to participate and perform
