Duties Develop comprehensive lesson plans that integrate ballet techniques with improvisational theater to promote versatile dance and performance skills Lead engaging classes that cater to various skill levels, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering creativity, confidence, and collaboration among participants Incorporate choreography, musical instruments, and theatrical elements into lessons to enhance the learning experience Support students' childhood development and early childhood education through tailored activities that promote motor skills and expressive arts Organize student performances or showcases to celebrate progress and build community engagement Maintain detailed records of attendance, progress, and individual goals to monitor student development Experience Proven experience working with children in educational or arts settings. Strong background in teaching visual & performing arts through ballet, improvisation, and dance instruction Demonstrated ability in choreography, lesson planning, and classroom management within creative arts environments. Knowledge of ballet terminology and vocabulary that can be taught to students for value of education and style. Prior involvement in theater or dance performances along with a specialization in creative arts instruction will strengthen your application.
