Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Majorette/Hip-Hop Coach to inspire and develop young performers in the vibrant worlds of dance, marching, and creative arts. In this role, you will lead dynamic routines, foster teamwork, and cultivate a love for performing arts among youth participants. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape confident, disciplined, and talented performers while creating a fun and inclusive environment for all students. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact through arts education and performance coaching. Responsibilities Design engaging choreography routines that blend majorette and hip-hop styles, ensuring they are suitable for various skill levels from beginner to advanced. Lead rehearsals, providing clear instructions and constructive feedback to enhance students' dance techniques and stage presence Develop comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate dance instruction, musical rhythm, theater elements, and creative arts concepts Manage classroom dynamics effectively by maintaining discipline, encouraging participation, and fostering a positive learning environment Collaborate with students to improve their performance skills in dancing, musical instruments, theater, sewing, photography, culinary arts, or childhood development as applicable Organize performances for school events or community showcases that highlight students' talents and progress Create competitive routines to help win with nationwide competitions. Support students' personal growth by mentoring them in teamwork, discipline, creativity, and self-confidence Experience Proven experience teaching dance styles such as majorette routines or hip-hop choreography to youth or adults Strong background in visual & performing arts instruction with a focus on choreography and dance instruction Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or extracurricular settings Knowledge of classroom management techniques to maintain an organized and motivating environment Familiarity with curriculum development tailored to creative arts instruction including theater, music education, sewing projects, or culinary activities Prior involvement in youth programs teaching arts or performance skills is highly desirable Skills in photography or working with musical instruments can be an added advantage for integrated arts projects Join us as a Majorette/Hip-Hop Coach to ignite passion for the performing arts among young learners!
