Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Private Voice Instructor to inspire and develop students' vocal talents across a diverse range of ages and skill levels. In this role, you will craft personalized lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and guide students through their musical journeys with enthusiasm and expertise. Your energy and dedication will help students unlock their full vocal potential, whether they are beginners or advanced performers. Responsibilities Design customized voice lessons tailored to each student's skill level, goals, and interests, incorporating techniques for vocal health, projection, diction, and performance. Deliver engaging, energetic instruction that motivates students to improve their singing abilities while fostering confidence and self-expression. Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment for all learners. Develop comprehensive curriculum plans that include warm-ups, exercises, repertoire selection, and performance preparation. Track student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly to maximize growth. Support students in preparing for auditions, recitals, competitions, or performances by guiding stage presence and performance skills. Collaborate with parents or guardians of young students to communicate progress and encourage practice outside of lessons. Requirements Proven experience in teaching voice or related musical disciplines with a strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning. Demonstrated ability to work with children, adolescents, and adults across various skill levels in a classroom or private setting. Knowledge of vocal techniques, theater arts, and performance coaching to enhance student confidence on stage. Familiarity with classroom management strategies to create an engaging learning environment that promotes respect and enthusiasm. Experience working with special education needs or early childhood education is highly desirable. Skills in photography, ballet, sewing, cooking or other artistic disciplines are considered a plus for creating diverse instructional programs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students of all ages while maintaining professionalism. Ability to manage behavior effectively and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.
